The country is split in its views on the demonetization of Rs 500 & Rs 1000 notes and the installation shows it has hurt some. Each element in the installation speaks a story, for example, the barbed wire indicates the announcement of the demonetization by the Prime Minister and how crossing over this decision has been harsh on the people, hurting some, as shown by the blood stains on the barbed wire. The gradient mirror symbolizes a stained system since independence and a reflection of a clearer future filled with hopeful success.
